Just for kicks, could you make a charts with valid and compareble results of all cases? Some of us do know where some cases might slot in if they were omited in some newer case review, but some don't. As 2018 is getting its end, I do think it would be somewhat awesome to loose myself in your info charts. Also, I do wanna see how well my choice (or does it at all) stacks up agains all the rest of them. Also, Im getting that "no fun" vibe where I have to paint to ppl the point of paying bit more, usualy $20-30, to get a lot more for their money. This way, with two or tree unified charts I colud just point on 3 or 4 options under $70 and $80 with amaising values. And be done.

Did I get this right? If I got supported Motherboard (it is for sure) I can't control the fans speed, cause I got only a 4 pin RGB header? My English isn't that good, sorry for this!

You need to be using incense sticks to visually show us air-flow patterns. Or a purpose build machine for generating controllable smoke.

You guys should get one of those Bee Keeper smoke devices and use it to show actual airflow through a case during operation. Like how they do with cars to show aerodynamics.

No they cannot get there. All their talent is either working on PCore or are working in their R(ipoff) & D division. I avoid ThermalFake like the plague it is. Especially more so with the somewhat recent demise of CaseLabs.

I will stick with my custom modded HAF 932. NO drive bays plenty of space behind the MB tray for standoff mounted SSDs (two) enough space to mount a storage HDD and still fit cables, and rgb and fan controllers under a windowed door. If I wish to I can put tempered glass on both sides and lose absolutely none of that space. Oh did I mention that I watercool my system and will be adding one more 360 for a total of 3 under the hood? Tf couldn't even come up with a design that would rival mine or Cooler Master's for that matter. Death to RGB!!!!

This is why I started just building my own cases. It's not that hard. I started with old cases that I cut apart and screwed together in new configurations, re-using the old motherboard back plates and rear panel. Admittedly, they were pretty rough Frankenstein looking things at first, but after a couple of iterations they got better. Finally, I just built my own breaks using lumber and hinges and built one from scratch from sheet metal. I don't know if I'll ever buy another case.

If the idea in the design is to be able to see the fan blades from the front of the case then a dust filter could be placed behind the fans which would not keep dust off the fan blades but would keep less dust from getting inside the case. The other idea would be to put round filters over each fan using a more open mesh or something that the fan blades would be visible through when the led lights are on. Personally I don't care to look at the fans and don't care for glass front panels but I don't care for any case lighting rgb or not either though everyone has a different perspective on what looks good or not and I am not someone who would judge anyone if they like to look at finger prints or dust that will collect behind the glass of the front panel.

I would think that making a case with good airflow would be pretty simple to achieve. I don't get what the problem is? A layperson can figure it out. Why can't a company filled with mechanical engineers?

That case with 3 ARGB fans is less expensive than buying a trio of LL120 ARGB fans from corsair. I seriously might buy the case for a guest room build and put a 240mm CLC in the side there.

Why is every single modern case choking three front fans behind a fucking piece of glass? How does this design make sense to a single case designer for any length of time? How do groups of high ranking people at these companies all give this ignorant design the thumbs up? How did a single case with this design ever reach a marketplace? What in the fuck is going on behind the scenes? I will never understand why this ever happened once, let alone in almost every single case I have seen, for YEARS.... Insane. Some of these companies have been making and testing and designing cases for a decade plus.... I am so sick of seeing this blatant idiocy! Please, please, please, make it fucking stop. Holy Shit.

Case makers are now afraid to make purely funtional cases without glass panels, RGB etc... Same thing with motherboard manufacturers. They are afraid functional products without the bling won't sell.

How can GN not hate this case? Every single one of these BDSM cases with a big stupid front case glass panel, gleefully choking airflow from pre-installed fans\fan locations, gets a "Hands Down 100% FAILURE" rating from me. This design is ridiculous, and is UNACCEPTABLE, for all reasons, at all times, and in all situations. If this "popular" design continues to be considered "OK", the design will continue to be used. Please stop giving this design FAILURE a pass. It is useless, worthless, and detrimental at best. Please make it stop.

So I guess the assumption among case designers these days is that people are going to be putting CPU coolers in anyway, so that can do all the grunt work of moving air around and they can concentrate on pwetty spinny colors to impress all your gamer bros at the LAN party. Or maybe they think people who build their own PCs are swapping parts out every couple months before they have a chance to get slow-roasted, so proper cooling isn't a thing to worry about.

Words cannot express the anger I feel when I see a case with big-ass fan panels… that enclosed in glass and have no intake dust filtering ! You KNOW that some marketing degenerate HEARD that cases must have fans, then ordered some poor bastards to put them to spin in the light while he jerks himself off while looking at the pretty colours that shimmer and stimulate nerves of his shameless eyes ! And now all marketing degenerates from all case-manufacturers prey on ignorance of consumer-schmucks by trying to shove that pile of refuse down their throats ! But you what I would like to see ? On-case e-ink display with realtime boot & load status information that doesn't shine !

I started with the tt 72, found it less impressive in person, but lots of space. Then I watched you gently rake the CM C700M over the coals and thought THAT looks nice. Lots of space. (Lots of screws 🤪. Lots.) But I followed your suggestions about the two front filters in series and removed one. Everything fit perfectly, cable dressing was easy, I used the provided ‘remote’ vid card mount with a 40-ish degree tilt back, so no vid card ‘airflow choking’ and it runs cool, using an Aorus 2080 Xtreme , MB says it’s cool, cpu (2700 OC’ed) is cool, and it is the proverbial brick shithouse solid mechanical-wise. TY. Very happy. Poorer, but happy.

RGB fans that could do something, but do nothing, since they are behind a thick sheet of glass is a _stupid_ design decision, and the mark of a case that puts looks over performance. I have learned this from every tech tuber which is why I would never, _ever_ purchase a PC using such a case, or build my PC in such a case, considering my eyes would be on the RGB pixels of my display rather than the unicorn vomit lightshow the kids are into. But, I would also never deprive anyone of that option, as I really don't give a damn if you want to choke your PC for looks over frames per second; Frames win every time.
